Fall 2003

New Year's Eve Fireworks (12.31.03)
It's been a while since I went down to the Embarcadero for some fireworks, so I gathered a group of fireworks fans and enjoyed a nice display. This year's was one of the best displays I've seen in San Francisco. The highlight was the smiley-faced one, although I didn't capture one on film. The last 2 photos are courtesy of Vivian K. Props for her camera's battery not dying.

Holiday Party @ Casa Evil (12.20.03)
I don't know on Earth somebody would call their place "casa evil," but Elbert and his brother organized a fun holiday party with food, music, and of course, a white elephant gift exchange.

Right On Track (11.24.03)
I finally got around to taking myself and my car up to the track. I signed up through Unlimited Laps and thus began my adventure at Thunderhill Raceway, in Willows, CA. Vroom. Screech. Vroom.

Halloween Volleyball Tournament (10.25.03)
My friends and I headed down to Santa Maria to play in another 2-day Westside Volleyball tournament. We ended up in 2nd place and took home t-shirts. We stayed at the Radisson which had a small airfield literally right outside my window. To celebrate our hard day of playing, we enjoyed food at Shaw's Steakhouse where Phil and Lou took on the saltine cracker challenge.

Pumpkins & Games (10.19.03)
Some friends and I got together to hang out and play some board games. I decided to bring a pumpkin for carving since it's almost Halloween. We debated on what to carve and ended up with the Ghostbuster logo.

Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival (10.18.03)
I went to the annual pumpkin festival down in Half Moon Bay. It was like any other county-type fair that I've been to before except it also had a parade around the town featuring the 1,180 lb pumpkin. Along the drive down Highway 1, we stopped to take some pictures of the rolling fog.

ideas come from inspiration. inspiration flows from within.
