Bringing in 1999 (1.1.99)
I suppose the date was technically December 31, 1998, but I'll let it slide. I spent New Year's Eve in San Francisco with Carrie, Jeff, Jeff and his friend Dennis. We rode the Muni down to the Embarcadero area where they had a modest fireworks display.

Daniel Visits California (January 1999)
My friend Daniel visited us out here in San Francisco. He was part of Amherst's singing group thing, and they performed out by Sather Gate. He got a chance to hang out with me and Carrie. We walked around the city, hiked in Muir woods, and chilled in Berkeley.

Commencement Ceremonies (May 1999)
I attended the commencement ceremonies for a couple of my friends (Ava, Brian, and Alex).

OISP-ers In The Bay Area (6.18.99)
Some friends that I had met while studying abroad were in the area, so we decided to get together and hang out. Loc came up for a visit while Jeff, Mo, and I were already up here.
