My mom found a "lovely" surprise after doing a bit of shopping. Apparently, some jerk of a driver hit one of the lamp posts and quickly sped off while it came crashing down onto my mom's CRV.

Wax On, Wax Off (9.30.01)
Well, I gave my car its first wax job, with the help of my brother, who was kind enough to wash it first. We used this cool, weird, wax made by Zymöl. I had never actually seen or used car wax before, but I'm sure most of them do not come in the color blue AND smell like coconut. Oh yeah, and we used this really cool microfiber towel.

It's very rare that I wake up and see clear blue skies. So, since this was the second day in a row that it happened, I thought I would take a picture. Years back, when the trees weren't so tall, I could see the ocean from my room!

Well, after 7 weeks of waiting, my 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX finally rolled up at the Diablo Subaru dealership in Walnut Creek. When I went in to get it, I was prepared for the most part, then there was a little mishap concerning car insurance. That made my brother, his friend, and I wait while Jim Thomas, the dealer, worked out the details. We got hungry at some point and grabbed a snack from the nearby Burger King. Ack, I thought I would have to wait a little longer to get my car, but everything worked out for the best and I drove home my very first car! It only had 5 miles on the odometer too!

I had to take the BART up to the Pleasant Hill station to meet one of my friends for a ride and while I was waiting, I saw snow on the mountain!! It is a fairly rare occurence to see snow in the Bay Area, so I had to take a picture.
