Saturday, November 16, 2002 ( 3:07 PM ) Scarf Girl Woah, overload in tv watching... Now I must go move some furniture. Scarf Girl, signing off. # Thursday, November 14, 2002 ( 8:17 PM ) Scarf Girl It's funny how people sorta think about the same things about the same time. So Amabelley posted a question on her page and asked how do you know you're in love, or something like that. I was chatting with my co-workers about that. Here answer: You just know. If I had $10,000 for every time I've heard that answer from someone who's in love or married, or engaged to be married, well, shoot, I think I'd have something like $100,000. I haven't asked a whole lot of people, but if I did, I bet I'd have $1 million. I have no answer for this question, because it's different for everyone. I think love is one those things that's defined uniquely for people. I mean, we all know what "movie love" is because we've seen it, and somehow, it may actually be true for some, while for others, movie love is something to be enjoyed while watching those movies. Hmm... not a particularly great answer, but hey, at least I took a stab at it. What does love mean to you? How do you know when you have it? Can't wait till tomorrow. I love Friday! *hi5* Scarf Girl, signing off. # Wednesday, November 13, 2002 ( 10:03 AM ) Scarf Girl Here's to J who is turning 25 at last today. Happy Birthday! Hope your day is great and have a blast on Sunday. We shall get you utterly drunk and hungover for work on Monday. SG, signing off. # ( 8:59 AM ) Scarf Girl I bought a dvd of Sleepless in Seattle a couple of months back because it was only $9. Go Fry's! Well, over the weekend, I decided to watch it since it was still wrapped in plastic. I was reminded of that one scene where Tom Hanks was explaining that if you ask a woman out for drinks, then it's better because it can turn into a date if you want. If not, then you can just part ways. Amabelley and I were talking about how I guess today, there's going out for coffee and how it's kind of like a pre-date and she referenced that scene of the movie. Heheh. So my question goes back to one that I've asked before. What counts as a date? Is it the dinner, or can it also be the coffee/drinks? Scarf Girl, signing off. # Sunday, November 10, 2002 ( 10:59 PM ) Scarf Girl In the interest of prolonging my volleyball playing days, I took a month off from playing to rest my knees from all the jumping. Today was supposed to be my first day back on the courts. I decided to participate in a little outdoor tournament organized by a fellow vball player. The forecast was supposed to be for no rain, but I guess it was wrong (what a surprise..). At least I got to play one game before the rain started to pour down. Heh. On the bright side, I played the game pretty well. *grin* Another weekend has passed. Oh joy, I'm going to get paid this week. Woohoo! Scarf Girl, signing off. # |
