A wash, a clay bar, an All-In-One coat, a glaze, and some wax, and the result is my car is all pretty again. Whew. I'm pooped.

When you're doing a new activity and you're still getting the feel of it, it can be frustrating. I've played 2 sports for a really long time now, and I'd say they are somewhat second nature to me. I'm also one of those people who likes to be good at stuff, so, when I'm doing something I'm not picking up well, it's a bit annoying.

So I went to the driving range for the 3rd time in my life. While I was trying to boot the ball far, they just kinda dribbled out there. I did manage to hit a couple of decent ones, but I don't know how that happened! Heehee. I guess I haven't forgotten how it's like to learn something totally new. It's a humbling experience, that's for sure.

Raar! I went 0 for 3 in my game tonight. *sigh* Looks like my batting slump is at its peak. We've got 1 more regular season game and it's going to be against a really good team. Gotta bring my "A" game!!

...

Well, gotta get folding on that laundry of mine.

I saw the tallest woman ever today while walking to work. I've seen her before, but today, I was standing next to her. She was dressed in business attire and that made me think about where she would go shopping for clothes. I know that the store "Big & Tall" is out there, but isn't it only for men? Do they have a store like that for tall women? *ponder*

OMG... my boss was talking me up to one of her clients' sons because she wants to set me up with him!! I happened to meet the client yesterday as I was dropping off a few things during her meeting and after they met me, the client was telling his son that he should meet me. Um.. do I have a sign on my forehead that says, "Please set me up??" Umm... that's because it isn't there! Heheh. I'm flattered though.

I had a total Hong Kong MTR (subway system) flashback today while riding the train. On the subways in Hong Kong, the INSTANT a seat is available, someone heads toward the seat at 100mph. I mean, literally, they are darting towards the seat. Let me just say I had no idea that little old Chinese ladies could move so quickly.

Okay, so I'm pretty familiar with where the train usually stops, and therefore can plant myself in front of where the doors will be so that I can not only have a better chance of getting any available seats, but also so that I can get on the train. During rush hour, the trains can get so packed that you get squashed near the door or it's just not possible to squeeze in.

Anyways, as I was patiently waiting for the doors to completely open, I spotted a seat although there were tons of people standing around. A Chinese man (probably around 60-65 years old) spotted the seat also and before the doors finished opening all the way, he barged into the train and in the process bumping me aside a bit.

As the doors finally opened and the rest of the commuters boarded, I noticed that the man rushed to the seat only to find the remains of an Icee lid and what appeared to be part of someone's spilled melted cola Icee. mmm... Icee... I took a bit of satisfaction that he didn't get a seat because he was kinda rude and dashed at the seat.

So after a few stops, someone gets up off their seat. The man with his available seat radar immediate lunged for the seat, but there were people in between him and the seat (me). Again he bumped into me, but after he took one step, someone had already taken the seat. I wanted to say to him, "Do you really think that the people standing 1 foot away would not get to the seat faster than you who is standing 5 feet away??" Sheesh. To make matters worse, as he was dashing towards the seat, I caught a whiff and boy did his breath stink!

More stops later, another seat freed up and he quickly dashed for it. I was tempted to take it instead because I was a lot closer, but hey, he's old and apparent VERY eager to sit down. Sheesh, he was so eager to get a seat that he left his wife standing there with several of their pink Chinatown grocery bags. I was glad to see that she was able to get a seat about 10 seconds after he sat down.

Gotta love public transportation. If it weren't for my commute, I would have nothing to write about!

One of my friends told me that I'm very self aware. I guess my friend meant that I know how I am and that I know how others would and do perceive me. I've often wondered how people perceive me. Do they think I'm nice as I hope they do? It's always funny how people think they are one way but really they are the complete opposite.

Hmm.. this entry is pretty choppy... What am I trying to say here? I have no idea. Hehe. Perhaps my brain relaxed too much over the weekend. It certainly was a kick back weekend for me. Okay, gotta shock my brain into action because tomorrow is going to be a busy day at work.
