2 Birthdays (6.22.02)
I celebrated the birthdays of my friends Christina & Brian with my other two friends Ben and JC. First we presented some fun presents before heading to have some lunch, play some miniature golf, and get some slurpees.

Tea and a Museum (6.12.02)
I had some pearl tea at Ten Ren in Chinatown. This time, I ordered a Strawberry Pearl Tea. Pretty interesting flavor. I think they had grounded up some real strawberries. Also, I went to the Palace of Legion of honor. This time, I had enough time to enjoy the exhibits.

Hello Kitty and Pearl Drinks (6.7.02)
I was in Mitsuwa, this Japanese supermarket, and Mike noticed these random Hello Kitty appliances: a toaster, a waffle iron, and a vacuum. I also saw some strange flavor of Pocky, and some fiber drink that said "Body Pleasure" on it. After the supermarket, we tried our hand at making our own Pearl Drinks. Not too shabby for microwaveable pearls.

Alamo, IKEA, and Sushi (6.3.02)
Today I was all around the Bay Area. First I had a picnic lunch in Alamo Square eating Vietnamese sandwiches from Little Paris Coffee Shop and drinking pearl drinks from Sweet Deelite. Next I watched Undercover Brother, followed by a trek through IKEA, and lastly dinner in at Sushi House in Alameda.

Day in the Peninsula (5.24.02)
Today I enjoyed lunch and some Scrabble action at Lucy's. I actually won a game, so I decided to take a picture of the board. It's all about the word "jerky" for 81 big points! Next was Chinese Checkers at Verde Tea Cafe around the corner, follwed by dinner at Gombei, and hanging out at Higashi West.

Pre-Summer Beach BBQ (5.18.02)
Amabelle and her sister organized yet another bbq. This time it was held at Ocean Beach on a pretty windy/chilly Spring Saturday. There were probably 50 to 60 people at one point. There was food, fire, and s'mores.

Jason's Birthday Bash (5.11.02)
Today a bunch of us celebrated Jason's birthday first with a bbq at Stinson Beach, followed by cake and presents at his place. It was a fun day with some beach volleyball action. Too bad we had so much trouble setting up the net!

Dandy Decorations (5.3.02)
I was parking my car and when I looked over at the parked car next to me, I noticed that there were some decorations on the dash. Also, I had some pearl drinks at a place called Maks. Pretty Yummy.

Pearl Tea & Blind Friend-Date (5.1.02)
I went to have some pearl tea at Tapioca Express with Mike before heading over to meet up with Amabelle, Andrey, and GG. I was meeting Andrey and GG for the first time and it was really cool of GG for giving us soap that she handmade.

Bowling and a Jack Head (4.30.02)
I joined some friends at their Tuesday bowling ritual and during our second game, four of us bowled strikes on our first frame. Go team! I also took pictures of 2 of my teammates. Oh, and before heading off to bowling, we stopped at a Jack in the Box where they were giving away antenna balls with a Sourdough Jack Meal.

Steak Sandwiches At Pluto's (4.19.02)
Today I got together with some former co-workers of mine. Lunch was pretty good as we all ordered the Tri-tip steak sandwich on focaccia bread. Heh.

Kirkwood Resort (4.4.02)
I finally got my camera back and decided to bring it up on the mountain so I could take some pictures. Sometimes when you're boarding, you just ride the lift and ride down without really stopping to admire the view. Well, not only did I admire the beautiful mountains, but I also took some photos. Post-boarding activity included a burger at Snowflake Drive-In, some place in South Lake Tahoe.

Chilling in the East Bay (4.2.02)
I spent some time and hung out with friends over in the East Bay since I rarely ever visit them. Heh heh. First I hung out at David's apartment where I saw his cool-looking rice cooker. He made a big deal about it so I thought I'd take a picture. Next was dinner with him, Alex, and Richard over at Tachibana.
