Yet Another Vegas Volleyball Trip (9.26.03 - 4.29.03) - Vegas Story 3
I spent another fun weekend in Las Vegas playing in the semi-annual tournament. We didn't win, but we did have a fun time.

Shindig: Forge (9.21.03)
On a very hot (90s) day in Santa Clara, Vince and I played hard and wound up tying for 3rd place. Not bad considering that many folks probably were about to pass out from heat exhaustion. Post tournament activity included dinner at the Palace BBQ Buffet in Sunnyvale.

Vince's Grand Day Out (9.20.03)
A couple of months back, Vince and I talked about playing in a volleyball tournament together, so he came all the way from Seattle for the event. Since he hasn't been back in a while, he wanted to visit a few spots: UC Berkeley, Zachary's and San Francisco.

Jeff & Zhendi's Engagement Bbq (9.6.03)
My old high school friend Jeff finally proposed to his now fiance Zhendi while they were on a recent trip to Hawaii. To celebrate, they had a bbq down at the gazebo behind their apartment complex. Congratulations!!

Sundance and Games (8.24.03)
Yet another gathering with some of my old high school friends. This time it was steak at Sundance and games back at Christina's.

Really Mini OISP Reunion (8.24.03)
Since Loc was visiting town, we had dimsum with Moe and reminisced about the good ol' study abroad days.

USA Road Trip: The First Gathering (8.18.03)
So two friends and I are planning to do a road trip across the US. It should be fun and I'm looking forward to it although it'll be a while from now. First things first: we need to plan the route. We had our first trip planning gathering over dinner at Mel's Diner.

Team Peng Pong (8.16.03)
Yesterday I played in Transition, another Shindig tournament, down in Encinal Park. After getting over my initial shock of their doorless bathroom stalls, the day went well as my team made it to the semi-finals.

Norah Jones Concert (8.02.03)
I attended the Norah Jones concert at the Greek Theater in Berkeley. She performed in front of a full house with some awesome musicians. Although the pictures may seem the same, I wanted to get the different stage colors. Gotta love lighting.

Big Beach BBQ (7.26.03)
I went to Seacliff down in Santa Cruz county for another one of Mike's beach bbqs. The food was good, the people were friendly, but the weather was a bit overcast.

Adam's Racing Birthday Fest (7.25.03)
For Adam's birthday, he wanted to go race karts at Speedring. I got my first taste of racing those lawnmowers on wheels as I like to call them. Boy can those puppies fly!
